Well, when I first heard about the concept, it was foreign to me. I had been working as an Independent Associate of Usana for a few years. But I was getting tired of the old fashion ways to build my Usana business. Let me explain.
I am not putting Usana down in any way, I think the company is a fantastic company with excellent products, they manufacture their own. They are good to their associates, they have been around for many years. Credibility is a word that also comes to mind about Usana.
I had an excellent sponsor, who offered as much help to me as I needed, amongst his group we formed a cooperative to share advertising expenses and leads. Yes, we generated our own leads via pay per click. So they were not like leads that you buy from a lead generation company, they had not been resold many times, they were really targeted, they were fresher than fresh. How fresh is a Usana lead that you buy from a lead generation company, you will never know.
Guess what? It still cost us as much as leads that you buy from these companies. But we were all very happy to have our very own, fresh, targeted Usana leads that we could call.
Our experiences, which we shared (a good thing to do) were not good. We all had very similar statistics. We all had phone numbers which were non existent, people who did not want to talk, people who denied filling out our lead capture form, people who did not want to start a home business let alone MLM. Pretty negative results. We also ran newspaper ads with similar results. After about twelve months of really giving Usana a good go I was starting to think negatively about why I was doing this business. I needed to start seeing some light at the end of the tunnel, one of the reasons for starting my Usana business was to make some money, so far I had not made much and had spent a considerable amount.
We all have friends in this industry, and they are not all in the same company as you. One of my friends suggested to me that I should look at a new way of working my MLM business and instead of generating my own Usana leads to buy customers instead. The vast majority of people in network marketing have never been exposed to the concept of buying customers. Yes, it's true and you don't have to buy or generate Usana leads to build your network marketing business. Hey, I've been there and spent thousands on expensive and non productive leads through pay per click as well as through lead generation companies.
Is your Usana business starting to frustrate you? Are you stressed at the end of the month because you haven't progressed? If you are looking for a completely different and new innovative way to build a lasting and long term residual income, then buy customers and not Usana leads.
